Decreasing Infinity – available for touring

Decreasing Infinity, a male duet created by Balbir Singh, draws on both Kathak and contemporary dance. Starting in their purest forms, seen through abstract mirrors, the mutual attraction of two distinct dance forms brings them to a collision in which both cease to exist; rather, something new is formed. Each style loses its distinct identity and takes on aspects of the other, whilst both reflect the same concepts through their own unique language.

The live performance of Decreasing Infinity has been performed across the north of England, and at Dublin Dance Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to great critical acclaim and full houses.

In addition to the live performance, BSDC also offers an accompanying documentary by Andy Wood, which examines the creative process.

“Love the fusion and form. It held the form to precision. Beauty itself.”

Audience member, 2010.
